Man on the Moon

In 1969, 94% of TV owning Americans tuned in and watched in silence as something that seemed impossible unfolded on their TV screens. This short animation illustrates how Neil Armstrong and the rest of the Apollo 11 crew captivated over 600 million people during the 1969 moon landing. It uses real footage and audio from NASA to show what audiences may have been watching or listening to during the moon landing. The music builds tension as this was a very suspenseful experience.
